The Grannie went down to Georgia..what a devil

Well hi evfurry i am here to share what i found in Grannies camera after her and Grandad left me high and dry with no care whatsoever for my well being had a much needed holiday.

Grannie Grandad and Bacons Mum Miss June and Dad Mr Jim decided that on the way to Tybee Island they would take the long and windy road like the Beatles and head to Cleveland Georgia.

You must stay tuned for a little episode which i will share later that involved certain Circus activities (no anipals folks just humans) and a quick pull over from the highway…yes weird does not even come close to describing what i found on that sd card of Grannies..and NO what happened on the side of the road in Georgia will NOT stay on the side of the road in Georgia..just sayin the peeps can’t leave me all alone and miserable in boarding without expecting some revenge!..so stay tuned..anywho back to this side trip to  Cleveland.

The peeps had already been doing some other things which we shall chat about later..but this was a hoot apparently..

Of all places the intrepid travellers went they headed to Babyland oh my…now when Grannies girl Rhiannon was little she had a Cabbage patch doll called Pearl..she was a bath one..problem was she never fully drained of water…ewwww and she ended up with a stank..so …yep Grandad got a darning needle..heated it up and make her a peemail place..EWWWWW but that way she finally got to drain that stinky bath water..all Grannie could say was it made her eyes water..whatever that means BOL..

This Babyland looks quite the southern mansion! i mean the moment they drove up they were all ‘Wow’s” and ‘You have got to be kidding me’

Wow..some nice place huh?
Wow..some nice place huh?

Sheesh some hospital hey ?
Sheesh some hospital hey ?

They were amazed at the beautifully manicured grounds and the lovely building..Grannie said she would have been happy to give birth here BOL….

They all went inside and were met by Nurses ..i mean nurses..and the inside was a childs dream..and maybe a pup i mean i can see Easy  destuffing the whole hospital in no time at all BOL..

The peeps headed to the giant cabbage chair that you see in the corner of this pic up above..and Grannie said it was the comfiest chair she had sat in for awhile..

Do not know what that yellow thing is in the crib  but it scares the daylights out of me!

Boy!
Boy!

I bet Grannie wishes she had kept that leaky ole Pearl..check out what this one is worth now!

Off to school..
Off to school..

Wow even a school bus to get these Cabbage patchers off to be educated…

Look who is with the peeps on their trip to Babyland.
Look who is with the peeps on their trip to Babyland.

Bashful even got to hang out with one of the nurses..Grannie and Grandad were so happy to catch up with Bashful again..seems he is like family now! And he looks a lot better than the night he went out for jellyshots..just sayin..

So Grannie did not come home empty handed..she has become a baby broker..oh my…talk about international incident..so she adopted a baby ..but for her niece ..now this nurse in the pic had to take Grannie into an office and Grannie had to choose a name for her baby and then cuss like a sailor   swear to look after her Cabbage patch doll..now when Grannie said DOLL the nurse ever so politely reminded her BABY..oh my…and so the newest addition to our family was adopted..

Meet Georgia June ( named after the state and Miss June)..soon to be handed over to Grannies little niece after being smuggled into the country in a plastic bag in the cargo hold of a crammed United Airlines and then Air New Zealand plane.

She may have had a more comfortable flight than Grannie..just sayin..random snoring and coughing dude..

How’s the the message on the baby suit…BOL..

Of course Grannie has made sure she has a dress and tshirt some diapers a bottle and a bib and blankie..all this while i was freezing to death in a lonely prison cell  having a blast at doggy daycare.

So the intrepid travellers who i will in further posts refer to as POOCS (Peeps out of control) left Babyland and headed off on their next adventure..i might add that they had no babyseats..harnesses or any other child protection equipment in the car..so i will leave you to shake your heads along with me..

Seem that a great time was had by all..so stay tuned and see what the POOCS get up to next !

  1. My goodness……….seems you can’t trust those peeps of yours for one minute out of your sight Doc – just LOOK what they get up to while you’re suffering all alone at the torture facility/aka kennel! Georgia June is cute though – that hospital is one classy joint! Mom wants a cabbage chair…..ASAP. Looks like a great nap spot. I agree.

  4. That looks like so much fun! I was never a doll fan, but I had to have every trend so I did have a Cabbage Patch Doll, an original. I wonder if it is worth anything- I never gave it a bath 🙂

  5. Whoa, Doc. No wonder my mom was a Tomboy growing up…she is very afraid of baby dolls. They kind of freak me out a little too but think they could be great chew toys. I feel your pain about being in a prison cell while the peeps are off galavanting around. Sheesh…and they call them adults? 😉

  6. Oooh, ooooh, we want to live in that house. So much room to play chase and tug and tag and to have a litter pan in every corner and … and … well, we just want to live in that big house. 🙂

However, we don’t want to pay the bills for that big house, which must be over the roof. 😦

But you all had a fun time visiting there, didn’t you!
