Thinking of a friend

Hi evfurry..we have some sad news today about another close friend in blogville .

Mouse Girl fursib to Bacon  ,Hemi and Houdini and much loved furkid to Miss June and Mr Jim at The Hotel Thompson  has run away to the Rainbow Bridge.

This has made us so very sad as they are good friends who have helped Mum and Dad in their time of grief and now they too are grieving.

Blogville has really taken too many furkids lately.

Mouse Girl left suddenly..she was a little bit unwell then the news from the Vet was  not good..masses and megacolon..the decision was made to send her peacefully and with love to her next adventure at the Rainbow Bridge..we know Forrest will be there to greet her.

Please pop by and send some love and hugs their way..

We are sharing a picture we made and also a poem Mum wrote a few years ago..

Hug your furkids hold them close..

We will see you all for the Wags and Waves for Forrest tomorrow and thankyou all again for your outpouring of love and well wishes..

Dedicated to all my precious pets who dance with the angels

Will you be my angel and place me in your heart

Will you always love me until the day we part

Will you be my angel and handle me with care

Will you keep me close and promise to be there

Will you be my angel and shelter me from harm

Will you offer comfort within  your loving arms

Will you be my angel and snuggle close at night

Will you reassure me if I should get a fright

Will you be my angel and spend your life with me

Will you be my angel when I need to be set free

Will I  now be your angel I hear within your heart

I will always be your angel I have been from the start

    2. It’s so horrible Easy. I dry up from crying, make myself presentable here at work and then fall apart all over again. These sad days have to stop and we need a better rest of the year. HUGS

  2. I never knew we could sob for so long continuously my sweet friends. This has so totally broke our hearts – Forrest and now our sweet girl Mouse Girl. We find so much comfort in the thoughts of Forrest greeting her and guiding her now. Thank you so much for your thoughts, calls and kindness. We love you. June, Jim, Bacon, Houdini and Hemi

  5. What a nice poem and picture of Mouse Girl you have posted sweet Dinnermintz. We are so sad for our dear friends who had to say goodbye to her. It is just so hard when our fur babes have to go the The Bridge. We are saying prayers for everyone at the Hotel Thompson, for all of you at your place and the others who have had to say goodbye of late to their precious ones that ran to The Bridge. Love, hugs and nose kisses Maggie Pooh and Chancy

  8. A beautiful poem……and we were so shocked to hear about MouseGirl but it does sound as if it was a blessing she didn’t have to suffer for long. We sent Miss June a little poem from the heart too last night……..sometimes words say it best while the heart grieves.

Miss Pam and Sammy we agree..Miss June spoke to Mum this morning about how touched she was by your poem..we are glad MouseGirl did not have a long illness..that is too much to stand…but we also know that sudden is a shock..then again shock happens no matter when furkids leave..we send them our love and we talk every day..friends help each other..Paw Pats and loves Dinnermintz xxc
